Sansevieria

Also known as the snake plant, the sansevieria is the easiest of all the houseplants. This plant prefers to be forgotten. It is known for its ease of use when it comes to light and watering. The sansevieria can tolerate low light conditions, which is why it is a great houseplant for everyone. It requires minimal watering, so only water when the soil is completely dry.

Syngonium

Also known as an Arrowhead plant, the syngonium thrives in low light situations. Known for its arrowhead-shaped leaves, this houseplant comes in a variety of colors. Care for this houseplant is simple. Water when the soil is dry. Be sure that this plant is in a pot with a drainage hole, as they do not like wet feet.

Pothos

The tried and true pothos has to be one of the most traditional houseplants, as it is loved all houseplant lovers of all ages. The pothos as comes in a variety of colors. While this plant is simple to care for, it has a shallow root system. Be careful not to overwater and do not allow this plant to sit in water. This plant can tolerate low light situations quite well and can also handle bright, indirect sun.
